While stationed in Taipei, Taiwan Tackett learned various forms of "Kuo Shu" (Kung Fu) such as Hsing l, Tai Chi, Northern and Southern Shaolin, White Crane, and Monkey boxing. In 1971 he was accepted as a student in Jeet Kune Do by Sifu Dan Inosanto and in 1973 was granted permission to teach and form a study group of his own. He has spent the last thirty
